Net tools

The standard linux network tools.

  • ip6tables: :Firewalling
  • ping6: Ping
  • traceroute6: Tracreroute
  • tracepath6: Tracepath

Squid (web proxy)

Squid does NOT support IPv6 at the moment. Patches are available to add basic IPv6 support from http://devel.squid-cache.org/ipv6/

Apache (web server)

Starting from version 2 apache includes IPv6 support by default. IPv6 addresses are specified in the format: [2002:c0a8:0001::1]:80 Patches are available for earlier version of apache to add IPv6 support.

Traceroute Servers

Traceroute servers are web applications which permit you to perform traceroutes to other hosts to let you examine routing and such. This list has only been verified to be accessible from IPv4 hosts but can trace to IPv6 sites:
